LeeMade custom outerwear guide
How Much Does a Custom Leather Jacket Cost?
There is no responsible single price for every custom leather jacket. Material, pattern work, construction and delivery requirements determine the written quote.
Leather grade and quantity
Hide type, grade, thickness, finish, color consistency and the amount needed for the size and design are major cost factors. Long jackets, oversized silhouettes and designs requiring careful panel matching generally use more material.
Pattern and construction complexity
An original pattern, unusual proportions, articulated sleeves, complex collars, multiple pockets, quilting, hand-applied details or difficult panel layouts require more development and making time than a restrained silhouette.
Lining, hardware and special details
Zippers, snaps, buckles, buttons, lining, interior pockets and custom finishes are specified with the garment. Rare or specially sourced components can change both cost and lead time.
Measurements, timing and delivery
Remote measurement review, destination, tracked shipping, duties and the requested schedule are considered before a time-limited quote is issued. LeeMade normally uses a 50% production deposit and 50% balance schedule, subject to the confirmed commission.
